This painting was created after coming to terms with a tragic event in my life.  Let go and let, God was expanded  to the above description.  I reached that point of freedom, not only resolve, but a purpose. My focus is my art, but it is also my faith. My faith leads my vision. My vision is grounded in my faith. I have attachments to this world, but my goal is to release myself from my earthly attachments, and focus on my true home, heaven. The time on Earth is my pilgrimage, my challenges, my achievements, my victories and my losses, which are all part of my life journey, but my focus remains on my higher purpose in living my life by letting go of my will and seeking the divine will that is meant for me. This may strike some as a bit too much to comprehend, connect with, envision, but those who do understand or relate to, just get it. I'm not asking anyone to agree with me, just to appreciate that this is one person's journey. Truth is truth whether we all believe it or not, truth is fact, and will be for all of us at some point. Can we truly let go?
